I aimed for at least 50 books this year, and I made it to 188! I can do more (I need to kill this to-read bookshelf and piles).
So next year, my goal is 150 (the ultimate being 250 or more).
Books I enjoyed in no particular order:
- God: An Anatomy By Francesca Stavrakopoulou
- Girl Juice by Benji Nate
- Cultish The Language of Fanaticism By Amanda Montell
- Kemono Jihen by Sho Aimoto
- Abolish the Family: A Manifesto for Care and Liberation by Sophie Lewis
- Go! Go! Loser Ranger! by Negi Haruba
- The Origin of Satan by Elaine Pagels
- A Sign of Affection by suu Morishita
- Villains and Virtues series by A. K. Caggiano
I need to dedicate more time to reading, like actually carve out time in my schedule and make an effort. The bookshelf app has been great with helping to reach my goals because I can easily scan books in and keep track of what I have and haven’t read yet.
Also, it’s like one person who runs it, so when I sent feedback about adding a book Wishlist option it was implemented right away. I like the overall design, navigation, and features (like note cards, quote cards, etc.)
I’m not sponsored, but I like it and even pay for the membership. because I absolutely HATE goodreads (why is it so HIDEOUS looking?)
