My name is Samantha, and I am a Jack of all Trades.
(That’s pretty common for people with ADHD.)
My main areas of interest and creative endeavors are writing, reading, podcasting, graphic/instructional design, voice-over work, crocheting, graphic novels/manga, video games, video/audio editing, and… and… well you get the picture.
(I suppose I shouldn’t mention running an Instagram for my cat…)
I grew up in New Jersey and was mainly raised by the internet and books.
(I suppose there were maybe some adults around who may have assisted.)
I’m an art school brat, having been a theater arts major in high school and then a creative writing major in college.
(If grammatical and spelling errors horrify you, it should be noted I was a CREATIVE WRITING major and not an ENGLISH major.)
I currently live in Chicago in an apartment with four cats, two other humans, and enough books that sometimes I question my building’s structural integrity.
(I should mention of those four cats only one is actually mine and, truth be told, I only like three out of the four cats… one of them I only tolerate, at best.)
I’m genuinely curious about the world around me and I love traveling. I can typically be found jumping between reading four or five different books of varying genres, curating too many music playlists, rolling between yarn piles of projects, and staring into the void.
(If you ever need to find me, just follow the trail of discarded candy wrappers and cat fur.)
